Christmas time in the States

We had a great Christmas this year 2010. We spent the week before Christmas and Christmas day in Washington at my parents house, with my siblings and their families. We ate delicious Christmas food and goodies all week. We took the kids swimming, sledding, bowling, so we could get a little exercise.
Some picutes at the bowling ally.

My little fizzy Izzy!

Brandon and his kids bowling.

My parents finally had snow for Christmas. Mike made the girls their prince charmings, aka snowmen.

The one thing my parents do best is cook tasty food. I had to take a picture of our prime rib and ham for my Swedish friends to see, because of the size of the meat. Swedish portions aren't quite that big!

On Christmas Eve the kids acted out the Nativity as we read it from the Bible. My sister Jeanne's family spent Christmas with us at my moms, so her kids dressed up too.

My brother Brandon's three kids with my four.

My grandma Elizabeth is with us in this picture, she just turned 97 years old. She is an amazing woman and is a wonderful example in my life.

We spent the week after Christmas and Mike's parents house in Utah. We had a great time seeing the Simons clan and all of our friends. We also ate out at least one meal a day at our favorite restruants beacuse they don't have any of them in Sweden. That is why I gained 6 pounds in only three weeks. Tis the season!

We took the kids and cousins to an aquarium in Draper and they had a great time. In this picture they are touching a sting ray.

I LOVED all the new pictures. They made me homesick for my little Swedish family! Give the kids a kiss from Nana, and a special birthday hug for Izzy on Saturday. I can't believe she will be 4. I can still remember how tiny she was when she was born. Now she's such a funny little kid. XO to all!
