The kids got a trip to Disneyland for Christmas. I was sick and tired of picking up to many toys off the floor so we decided a trip might be better. We went when kids were suppose to go back to school right after Christmas break We had a blast, the first day we were in CA we went to the beach and played in the sand. Izzy was so funny because at first she didn't want to touch the sand.as soon as we made feel the sand and showed her that she could pick up the sea shells she had a blast. Her pocket was so full of shells that every time she bend over to pick one up they would all fall out. It was hilarious to watch.
None of us had ever been to Disneyland before so it was a new experience for all of us. Disneyland was still busy, but I guess that is the norm. We got the three day park hopper and pretty much did everything at the 2 parks. The kids were troopers for all the walking they endured. We took the kids to a princess lunch and got to meet all of the Disney princesses. Addy loved it, she was so cute to watch as all the princesses came around to each table. Ethan was pretty mad that we made him go because he is always talking about blowing up the princesses. I think he did end up having a good time, although he would never admit to it.
There was one funny thing that happened. I took Ethan on Screemin and Mike took Addy and Izzy over to watch us launch and of course there is water and about a 25 ft drop. When Mike was not watching, Izzy took her shoe off and through it over the edge. We could see it floating in the water so I went and got a Disney worker because I was to cheap to buy her 30 dollar Disney shoes. They ended up getting it out so I let it dry for a while and put it back on her.
We had a great time. I am glad that we finally took the kids because the memories are priceless.

So fun! One of these days we are going to the character breakfast/dinner when we go. I look at it everytime we go but I am too cheap to pay for it. :) It looks better than waiting in line for hours to see the princess though!

I love Disneyland! No matter how old I get or how many times I've been...I still have a blast! I'm with Annie, one of these times I need to spend the money and do the character breakfast! I'm glad you guys had fun! One of these days we should have a "friend" Disneyland trip...that would be a lot of fun!
