Mid Summer Holiday

After we were rained out at Sofiero (see pictures below) we went over to the old bishops house and had fun party with lots of food and games. The families in the ward have been so nice to us. The kids had a great time too.

Mid Summer is a very big holiday here in Sweden. They have lots of fun traditions like, dancing around the may pole and eating pickled Herring. (which I actually liked) We went to the Sofiero which is a castle that the former King donated to the city. It was beautiful with gardens and path ways everywhere. We had to leave early because there was a down pore of lots and lots of rain. We went there with a family from the ward and the missionaries.

It looks like the mid-summer holiday was lots of (wet) fun! I'm so glad your ward family is including you in so many activities. We miss your family, but this experience will be something none of you will ever forget. Love, Mom
